Centrifugal extractor
Centrifugal extractors are mainly used for liquid-liquid extraction, organic phase washing and liquid-liquid two-phase separation (oil-water separation) and other processes. At present, centrifugal extractors are widely used in fine chemicals (synthetic post-processing processes such as pesticides, pharmaceuticals and chemical intermediates), fermentation (organic acids, antibiotics, etc.), hydrometallurgy and environmental protection industries. It is quite different from traditional liquid-liquid extraction and separation equipment in working principle. It is a process intensification equipment for continuous high-speed precision mixing and rapid centrifugal separation. The equipment can be used alone or in series. In industrial applications, it can quickly realize countercurrent extraction and cross-current extraction of different levels.
The equipment is mainly composed of an electric motor, a rotating drum, a mixing mechanism, a casing and a pipeline (see the right figure for details). The working process of the equipment includes a mixing process and a separation process, and these two processes are carried out continuously.
Performance characteristics
- High mixing efficiency and good extraction effect
- Good two-phase separation effect
- The equipment has a small online liquid holding capacity
- Small amplification effect of the equipment
- Energy saving and environmental protection
- The equipment occupies a small area.
